Awesome Activities for Kids Pre-K through 6th Grade:
Royal Ambassadors, Girls in Action, and Mission Friends
We have missions for all ages preK 4 through 6th grade.
They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 in the Children's Building.
*GA's will kick off their new year on September 1 @ 5:30. They will meet at the church and go to CICI's pizza!!
*RA's will kick off on September 1 @ 6:30. They are going to have pizza in the RA classroom upstairs.
*Mission Friends will kick off on September 1 @ 6:30 in their classroom.

Children's Sunday Morning Bible Study
9:45am - 10:50 Sunday Morning
Come for great adventure and learn about what God has in store for you through music, drama, small group and large group time.
1st - 4th graders start out at 9:45 in the Big Room for a time of Praise and Worship. They go from Worship Rally to their Sunday School classes for a great time of digging into God's Word and finding out how it applies to their lives.
TWEENS (5th &6th graders) meet upstairs in the Children's Building in a departmemt all their own where they dive into in- depth Bible Study and find out just what God's Word has to say to today's preteens.

Preschool Sunday School
9:45 - 10:45
The Preschool Department ministers to children infant-Kindergarten. They learn of God's love through Bible stories and learning centers including music, nature, blocks, home living, and books.

Fall Festival! - Family Event - Saturday October 30, 2010, 5-7 p.m.
Parents Night Out: The second Friday of each month, 6:30 - 10:00 p.m., is designated as Parent's Night Out. This ministry includes:
Nursery: A nursery provided for adult Sunday school parties/fellowships and Date Nights. We provide safe, nurturing, fun and care for infants - kindergarten while parents enjoy a night of fellowship with other adults or just each other!
Kid's Club: More than just a "nursery" - children 1st - 4th grade enjoy fun and fellowship of their own with food, games, movies and more!
TWEEN Time: 5th & 6th graders doing what tweens do best...hanging out with friends and having fun! Sometimes on campus and sometimes off, Tween Time is planned, organized activities for our pre-teens.
It is our desire to provide a safe environment for all children to learn about God, therefore we (Southern Oaks Baptist Church ) require a background check and a completed application, and Reducing the Risk Certifiacation for all volunteers and paid workers before they work with children at our church.
